About Tachikoma

I always had an interest for games but not like I do now. As a child, I watched my brother and cousins play Super Smash Bros Melee and Zelda, but I didn’t really play much. As a teenager, I started playing the Sims to which I dedicated many hours. Sometime after that, I started playing on consoles and I tried different game genres. My friend Peyton was a fan of horror games, it’s through her I discovered Survival Horror games. Resident Evil is my favorite game franchise, and to this day, the one where I’ve put the most hours into. A lot of the Survival Horror games don’t have Multiplayer options, therefore I often found myself playing alone.

To this day, PlayStation is the platform I’ve spent the most time on. Playing adventure games such as Assassin’s Creed, or Survival Horror games such as Alien Isolation or more strategic games like Catherine. At the same time, I accumulated a lot of hours playing strategy games like Civilization V for example. I also enjoy adventure and puzzle solving games like Ace Attorney.

Overwatch is my first First Person Shooter on PC unless you count a few minutes of Doom. I first started playing on my brother’s account before making up my mind and purchasing my own copy. I used to play for fun and when the competitive mode rolled around, I wasn’t motivated enough to keep my level. It was after my first visit to the MVA, where I saw the Overwatch team Faucons, that I understood how a real team operated. After playing with them, receiving feedback on my performance and useful advice, I took to playing more seriously. Currently, I’m not only working on my rank but also my own skills, so to be able to contribute and help my team. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
